A publice beach is beside Burj Al Arab
Nov. 2019
This public beach is beside Burj Al Arab. Tourists like us went there not for the swimming but to capture a few photos of the famous Burj Al Arab. But last November when we went there, we were so disappointed. There were cranes left and right. It was imposible to have a nice clear photo of this 7 star hotel. Later when we went to Souk Madinat Jumeirah for lunch, we had a few nice photos of Burj Al Arab from there. Umm Suqeim Beach has plenty of changing cubicles and showers to wash off the sand. There are few washrooms, be prepared for line ups. There is a fish & Grill restrauart nearby for your convenience.
Happy travelling!

Beautiful place!
Apr. 2019
It was a beautiful place. Was there at the sunset. Was a little bit chilly, but it was worth it. I promise

Not a lot to do
Jan. 2020 • Family
There was a ton of tourists taking pictures of the Burj Al Arab. It was quite crowded in fact with just that. The swimming area was kind of small. It would be hard to enjoy the beach with the number of people who came by to take pictures. We decided to go to JBR beach and loved it.

Lots of jelly fish
Nov. 2019 • Couples
Like all the beaches there are jelly fish to be aware of - I would guess some times of year worse than others. All beaches are clean and nice. Recommended.

Beautiful Beach to take pictures of Burj Al Arab
Nov. 2019
As it is winter time it is best time to visit these beaches at noon also.
This is clean beach have a best view for taking pictures of burj al arab. Has dedicated area for people to swim but you can lay down anywhere just take your sleeping mats along with you.
I have seen one drawback here that this place has not much option to eat and drink, as this place has two or three food or juice outlet only.
**Tip- Bring your own food and water plus laying mat.

sun and sands :D
Sep. 2019
we went there with taxi around 1 pm, there were toilets and open showers ( no privacy or place to shower divided. you can be seen from the street!)
we changed in the bathroom although it was written that its forbidden but the one who was cleaning gave us permission t change there,
don't forget towels cause there is not a place or bed that you can sit or sleep near the beach,
it was not much crowded, and it was clean, it was ok to wear bikinis and taking sun bathes,
at the end we found a shower places at the other side of beach which was far but no one was there so we could take shower easily, it was a must to take shower cause the Persian Gulf water is soooooooooooooo salty and it burns eyes and others,
sadly while i was swimming sands were in to my mouth, and i was coughing for a few days.

Magnificent Beach
Jun. 2019 • Friends
This beach is unique experience for views and sunset.
The background views had Burj Alarab and Jumeirah Beach hotel buildings that give you fantastic photos.
The charming sunset is so enjoyable from this point of dubai beaches.

Busy!
Apr. 2019 • Solo
I visited this beach to get a look and for a walk. There are so many people here and very difficult to walk along the sand without having to watch your every step. Parking was difficult to find as every spot was taken. I believe so many people may be from the nearby hotel, maybe? The water was nice, clean and warm. Lifeguards are visible and are friendly.

Best free beach to view sunset
Mar. 2019 • Solo
Free to visit 24 hours a day, summer, clear blue sky. This beach is located in Umm Suqeim district and was the best location to view sunset, feel sea breeze in Dubai. Visitors can make beautiful pictures of the sunset in combination with about 1 kilometer far from the Burj al Arab hotel. It was such a smart and environmentally friendly design beach, as its construction rely on clean energy generated from wind and sun.
