The Burj Al Arab was recommended to us by a few people, so before our departure in inquired about a reservation. It was a simple email to the host stand and a reservation was made. When we arrived on the day, my wife and I were blown away to say the least! What an amazing experience! The multiple "courses" for... More

As a big fan of modern architecture I tried to visit the Burj El Arab. Walking from the metro station things looked really promising. While getting closer we noticed that the Burj El Arab is surrounded by other hotels who have claimed the beach. When we finally got out of the labyrinth of small stores at one side it took... More

wow what a hotel, brilliant, with white Rolls Royces outside all lined up to amazing views inside the hotel with a breathtaking atrium, drinks quite costly but a valued one in a lifetime experience

Not impressed with the service at all. It felt like there was no experience to talk about. The waiting staff were kind and smiley but there was no introduction to what was in the package. My friend and I were very much reluctant to order drinks as there was not much guidance. We were sure about the tea but water... More

Burj Al Arab was on our list to see in Dubai but unfortunately, can't just walk in if you're not staying there. Next best thing - eat there! Made lunch reservations at Al Mahara, Nathan Outlaw's Michelin Star restaurant. Once inside you'll be mesmerized by the huge wall of fountain and looking up, the intricate design of the building. It... More

Who can say if the famous Burj al Arab completely lives up to it's self-styled billing as "the world's only seven star hotel", unless they've already visited all the other best hotels in the world?! It is without doubt a very impressive, unique and iconic hotel, and well worth a visit even if you can't afford to stay here (and... More
