Great day at the beach

Clean and beautiful beaches. Not overcrowded and best of all free!!! Plenty of parking, jogging track and cafes.

I like to go there, after work, just sit on the white sand and let the sound of the clashing waves wash away all of the day's stress away... It is crowded on weekends though, but still... Now that the weather is improving, a lot more people will be there! I went there with my baby tortoise last weekend :)

We were parents with a group of kids, who took part in competition in Dubai, and a day before the big event for our kids, we decided to send our childten in this beach for relaxation. They swam, played together and had lots of fun. While they were swimming, we took lots of photos on the most famous beach, near... More

Lovely at this time of the year. Warm, windy, dry & sunny in the day. Love the beach with camels and the many restaurants & boutiques just at the beach.

The beach have many facilities which makes you feel comfort being there. Additionally, a wide choices of restaurants and juice shops are available that meet all tastes. This place is great for family and to do sports. The beach is clean.

This is a well maintained, clean and well used beach. I ask the question in my title because it seems that the beaches to the other side of the amazing Burj el Arab hotel have all been requisitioned by hotels and are now privately run. That was a pain for us as we were in Dubai on a photography project... More

We vent to the Jumeira beach with the hotel shuttle bus, what a nice place, nice beach and the water was perfect. If in Dubai, go there ;)

One of the beautiful sand beaches I ever saw. Clean area and controlled to avoid annoying visitors. I only visit but unfortunately did not swim.

This was a typical beach. Plenty of people around. Definitely a tourist stop on the way. It is a must see.

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighbourhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
