Metro system in Dubai is very easy to use and metro stops at most of the places tourists would want to visit. It’s cheap and is fully air conditioned, so is a welcome break from the heat. The staff at the ticket offices are helpful...More

Let's start by saying that I had planned to take the Metro on Friday (first day of Arab week-end) morning at about 10:30, when the shops are supposedly open, and to board it at the Dubai Mall station since, as you can easily verify yourself,...More

I am just in awe of how orderly the people queue when the train arrives and the metro system was pretty easy. There was a cabin for women and children and strictly no food and drinks that is probably why the cabins are so clean....More

Excellent way to get around Dubai. You can buy limited use tickets for a return or multi use tickets if you are in Dubai for more than a couple of days

Obvious choice for getting around, it is safe, frequent and airconditioned. Single males beware, don't sit in the pink ladies only seats!

Covers only north to south, doesn't reach all places like in most advanced cities. Also I found it a bit slow. Needs more coaches,.. Overcrowded. The coaches smell a bit strange, like a clinic, maybe the disinfectant they use!!
