We went to the museum as part of our visit to Al Seef (which is worth visiting), the museum charges a fee of 65 per adult. And there’s a fee for children aged 5 and above. It’s a small museum (family oriented). It’s fun and interactive. The staff there are very helpful in helping you understand the different games of illusion.
I personally left with a headache and some dizziness. So if you can’t handle movements, colors and illusions, I wouldn’t recommend it. It is better to visit the place with someone as if you go alone you may not be able to try the different games or illusions.
Not recommended for children under 6.

Illusions - a most fascinating name for a museum, and it was indeed fascinating.. kaleidoscopic mirrors, illusions of short people being much taller, when in one of the rooms, 3D jigsaws placed on tables, for one's mind to have a good challenge(real, not virtual, as in good ole days).. all in all, an amazing place to visit. Only drawback: Repeat value would be after a couple of months or a year. :)

I would not recommend Museum to use Thrillark as a partner because of their policy. I haven't itilized the service, though I fully paid for my ticket. I wanted to go to the Museum of Illusions with my child, my colleague and her child. I went to the Museum before with my hubby in 2018. It was fun. Anticipating a unique day again, I went there on March, the 2nd, I noticed they changed the setup. I was told by their front desk man of a Filipino origin that my daughter can't enter for free. My friend's daughter was 3. She was also very surprised. We left shocked. I had Emirates flight same day, not able to come back on any other day! If your management checks the info online, you can see the price for tickets for those who are 5 - 15 year old. Truly disappointing experience! And nobody ever refunded me my money till now!!!

Parking is in the underground basement parking of the Meera’s development. There is lots of it which is great for this area. Take the second last escalators up and you will be closest and then just ask one of the security guards where it is.
Book ahead due to social distancing. You get blocked an hour, but we took two hours. If you try the puzzles and get a few good photos you can easily pass this time.
It’s great for a hot summer afternoon, but the area will also be amazing during the cooler months when you can walk along the souk area down to the dubai fort and catch an water taxi on the creek.
The exhibits are fun, but what makes the experience brilliant is the team. Some of the best, intuitive and intelligent service I have ever had in dubai. After trying for a bit ask them for support at each of the games and you will have so much fun. They are awesome at taking photos too.
The place is in many ways about touching things, so actively use the sanitiser available. They also offer you gloves on arrival.
We paid 50 each which was the right price. I hope they keep it at that.

As a solo visitor, it could be difficult to get full value out of this trip, but I was immediately ‘adopted’ by a lovely member of their staff who became my personal assistant. No photo opportunity was missed and she was a brilliant operator of the intricacies of an IPhone camera. A very enjoyable 45 minutes and some unique photographic memories. Just sorry I didn’t note the lady’s name. Thank you again Miss X.

We have booked tickets from their official website for 4 person but we got to know that Museum will be closed due to renovation.
So i tried to contact them using emails , phone , social media in order to refunds my tickets but unfortuantly no one is responding or have authority to take action . It is really not acceptable and shame from such behaviour.

It is located in a beautiful area called Al Seef. Museum of Illusions is a must see especially if you have kids or if you just enjoy science.
There are a lot of installations there which are fun and enlightening. There are people there who also help you understand the concept and click snaps.
Although the tickets are expensive, it is worth every penny spent. It is definitely worth a visit.

Such an overrated place, not worth the 65 DHS entry fee for a 10 min walk across areas. They 'attempted' to put up some Halloween decorations, but all exhibits looked worn out, unimaginative and nothing special. Doesn't compare at all to its counterparts across the world.

This was the highlight attraction at my Al Seef staycation and located opposite the bait of the Al Seef Heritage Hotel that I stayed at.
I was pleasantly surprised as, even though the museum is not huge, there’s a lot of optical illusions and puzzles in one place with well-labeled explanations.
The biggest selling point of the museum were the staff, who are universally enthusiastic about the museum, great with interacting with visitors, playing with the kids and taking photos. My visit would have been a very different experience without the staff team, so a special commendation to them for making the museum a special visit.
Don’t forget to check out the gift shop: I was so tempted to buy everything!

Museum of Illusions
It’s a curious place at al Seef. The museum is quite small, but very interesting and has lots of optical illusions to experience, it has several rooms, plenty of puzzles to solve - if you feel like doing that, you can accept the challenge. And also there are several places to take nice and interesting pictures to keep the visit to the museum in your memory. Kids usually like it a lot, because there are lots of exhibits which they can touch, and since everything is based on illusions, on our perception, they willingly explore, doesn’t matter if they are just 5 years old or 16. For adults its also very interesting, occupies your thoughts, you get in the state of flow and pass some time concentrated, not mind wandering, which is really good for our wellbeing.

While it is child friendly the 10 month old won’t fully understand the illusions. For me it is for 4 years and up
