Mimicking Italian markets often look fake and ridiculous, but Mercato does it very well. Something about the sunlight that comes from the glass roof and the wide main piazza makes it a favorite of us, even if it's small and does not have as many of our favorite brands. I say go there to sit in a coffeeshop and enjoy... More

Nice to have a coffee and relax. Not too many options for shopping but I love it cause it is cozy and have the Nail Spa and Spineys. It has 3 different places for coffee: Paul, Costa and Starbucks. I love how bright is this mall cause of the glass sealing.

Not the usual high street only offering with Jack Wills and some boutique offerings. Lovely atmosphere, with high ceilings and beautiful decoration to make it feel like a traditional European market square. Also popular with local folk which is a good sign. Not heaving with people either. It has a Vox cinema. Plenty of underground parking too. On JBR road.

Nice building however like every mall. The doorman (security gard) before the mall wanted to kick a homeless poorly cat, the cat was laying in the shadow on the side of the entree. This was absolutely not necessary.

This mall is beautifully designed and constructed. The Iralian architecture is breathtaking. You can also shop different Brands here however the price is really high, just like Dubai mall and Mall of Emirates

nice little mall, away from the crowded Dubai Mall or Mall of Emirates... nice cafes like starbucks under the glassy ceiling that makes u enjoy the sun shine while drinking coffee... despite the mall is small and there are just several shops and brand, but still one can enjoy shopping in a calm and quiet place

I loved the glass dome at the last level as it make the mall more shiny and bright during the day, and as we spend more time in side we forget to know what time is it but we will consider that night has arrived as the dome turned to dark

Mercato Shopping Mall is definitely worth the visit, it has good shopping facilities, restaurants and not too busy so not stressful with the kids about them wondering off. The kids playing areas need more consideration and expansion but cinema makes up for that 😃

Park at the basement, food court is 1st floor, although it is decent but good for the budget, has rental car service at basement, supermarket is good option, usually at evening there is show especially at weekend.

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighbourhood Profile
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
