Nice for a walk, a different place than the most of Dubai, withouth the skyscrapers. Nice for a walk, some souvenirs, but be prepared to bargain with the sellers.

It is a must to visit, amazing experience. You can ride the abra which is the old boat traditionally used in Dubai. Deira and Burjuman connection for just 1dirham its worth your money. You get to see the landscape of old city of Dubai.

Crossing the creek for only DHS 1! That's incredible. You save the time and money to do the crossing by car! Lots of shops and good rates on the other side! Great!

If you mean crossing the creek on one of the passenger boats, I say yes. It is safe because stepping on and off the boat is easy without any jumping or climbing involved. Once on board you can sit down. The ride is not bumpy... More
