Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The mosque is best visited with a guide. It is a moving place to see, especially as it is a dynamic, living place of worship. The simplicity and the architecture made be glad to have had the opportunity to visit it several times. I recommend seeing this place and other with someone who loves Tripoli and who is able to bring the city and its attractions to lfe.

All mosques in Tripoli are used and still working... the ruins inside it are from mixed times (egyptian, arabic, roman stones).
One advice: girls need to wear head scarfs to enter mosques.

One of the few mosques open to non-Muslims is worth visiting in the ancient city of Tripoli.
The 700 year old mosque sits in quiet gardens, a relatively plain exterior, topped by its green domes. Though small you will enjoy the unique architecture and calm ambience. The Immam will explain the mosque’s history, and point out important features of the mosque.

I don't know much about mosques, but it pleasant to walk around. No one bothered me while I was there, but some people did stare. I don't think they get a lot of tourists around here.

It's a beautiful mosque intimate yet with great architectural details. I miss the citrus garden that was adjacent.

A must see in Tripoli. One of the best preserved medieval buildings in Lebanon, and well refurbished, and still operational.

I just love this historical mosque.
It keeps glowing, it seems due to continuous maintenance.
It's so beautiful, specially the interior, it's amazing and warm and gives high spiritual feeling.
