The Jeddah Corniche is divided into three sections, the Northern which is above the Obhur Creek, the Central Section which is where we stayed in the Sheraton Hotel and the longest section which is the Southern Section. This road runs along the Red Sea Coastline and offers one great and fantastic views of the sea throughout.
In front of our Jeddah Sheraton Hotel the city of Jeddah has invested a large amount of money in the new beautification of this long section. It is really outstanding as they have built several modern piers; play areas; beach sections; modern restrooms and most importantly down the media strip of the Corniche they have built both jogging and bicycle paths.
From our balcony we were able to observe the high use of the Jeddah Corniche. It was usually bumper-to-bumper traffic on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
If you visit Jeddah for the first time I strongly recommend that you spend the time to visit the Central Section of the Jeddah Corniche. It is very relaxing and quite enjoyable!

What a lovely way to spend the evening in Jeddah. I highly recommend everyone take an evening stroll along the waterfront. While visiting family and friends on my second evening in Jeddah as part of my sightseeing tour we went to see the sea and see the people and families of Jeddah. It was a lovely evening, people having picnics, kids playing together, women talking, men talking, families enjoying the water, weather and one another. The are lots of places to buy drinks, snacks, typical waterfront delights, as well as restaurants, hotels and gathering spots for refreshment and relaxation. Very nicely laid out and it was extremely comfortable to walk, talk and take our time. A definite yes.

The weather is awsome and tempting to walk or juggle at the sea side. Unfortunately, the city imposed curfew on public places to contain crona virus spreading. Even though the city has low reporting of cases but preventive measures are imposed.
The cornishe was modernized last year and it is great place to visit especially during good weather. The drone photo captures are fantastic and showing the beautiful cornishe. Unfortunately, it is empty from visitors but still gorgeous and beautiful.
It is iconic area for Jeddah visitors and hopefully will return to it's active life soon.

It’s lovely to walk along the Corniche in the evening when many families are out either for a stroll, a picnic or just watching the sun go down over the Red Sea. People are delightful and stop for a chat or invite you to have an Arabian coffee with them. There’s also the numerous sculptures which are interesting - although hard to locate and at the moment are unmarked which is a shame.

After the heat of the day the city of Jeddah is populated in the evening with many people who enjoy the cool of the evening walking along the sea. Jeddah Corniche is very long and we had a long pleasant and peaceful walk mostly along the Middle Corniche. A peaceful, safe and pleasant environment where it also happened that some young people very kindly asked us to take some selfies. Definitely for us it was a pleasant and relaxing way to spend some time before going to dinner.A way of life in Jeddah not to be missed.

We walked on the seaside, bought coffee and enjoyed watching the people who were there for picnic and the kids playing. The weather was pleasant in December, and Winter is the best time to visit Jeddah and enjoy walking by the corniche.
It gets very congested on the weekends and can be difficult to find free parking.

The new updates added to it a more valuable attraction. It's highly clean and organized. Also the public W.cs are available in this area but they are paid services while the corniche itself is for free. You can rent cycles alongside it with reasonable prices.

This is where the city and people of all ages come in the late afternoons, and evenings, when the temperature has cooled off to stroll and enjoy the views of the Red Sea. It is a really enjoyable experience to walk around and get the breeze of the sea, as you stroll along. The city in the mornings and early afternoons are essentially deserted but in the winter at around 5 PM, you will see the locals come here to enjoy time out, visit Restaurants and have something to eat in the multiple small shops along the way.

It is pretty down along the Corniche, especially towards sunset or if the day is breezy. I think once more buildings are finished to give it a prettier skyline, it will be more attractive. There are a few beaches that are empty when the sun is up. Maybe one day women will be allowed to wear short sleeves in public!

Nice seaside park with walking path. In evening it's nice to have a walk there with family or friends. There are some small shops where you can buy some drinks and enjoy Jeddah sunsets and sea breeze. Once you in Jeddah you should visit Jeddah Corniche.

What is the difference between a basic double suite and a double suite.
I refer your hotel to one of my friends,
We stay there at your hotel 3 times already.

A basic double suite is you are recommending, a confirmed double suite. Normally hotels they have a double suite even you are booking alone.
