Given the mosque is on pillars that rise from the sea, a novelty in most parts of the world, it has become a tourist attraction and is called the floating mosque! It is a quiet relaxing place and worth visiting.

Floating mosque is exactly not floating but has been built further into the sea. A good place for picnics and of course praying

This is a well known mosque in Jeddah called Floating Mosque. But its really not floating. It just on the beach and offers great view of the red sea. Very popular among tourists.

We managed to film here at sunset, in the last 15 minutes before Ramadan Maghrib prayers began. The position of. The building is what is most spectacular, the building itself is not very courageous or of particular architectonical interest.

Amazing place to photograph, u can enjoy a stroll along the costal with a cold breeze night time, expect humidity as it is a floating Mosque built over piles

Built by businessman Saleh Kamel in front of his Palace at North sea side corniche. constructed above piles on the sea water. Beautiful atmosphere. need to make more effort to keep it clean !

A must see in Jeddah. It feels great while standing beside Masjid, look at the see and you feel like its really floating. Only drawback is need more attention by Authorities to maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the Masjid.

It's a mosque with good view facing to the Red Sea. Unfortunately, the toilet is not really clean and also the yard full of seller around. But overall it's a good place to visit (and taking photos) when in Jeddah.
