See a 700-year-old flag mast and a 15th-century cannon at this restored building, one of several crumbling structures preserved by the government.

This is a very big house, however, the house was not open for public at the time when we visited. There is a famous juice shop in the lane next to the house (towards the right side). The house makes for some good clicks!

The building was the home for the famous Nassif family of Jeddah... If you are in Jeddah, you must visit the facility which very well maintained as a heritage site...

If you are in town then this historical architectural jem is not to be missed. Try to get your host to arrange for a roof top visit just before prayer at sun down followed by a catered Hejazi supper. It is wonderful remarkable experience.
