it is located at the end of sakkline street. a steep roof and wodden pillars holding the rood on the side. unique and beautiful. inside the compound you will find smaller pagodas. it is peaceful and calm inside.

The Wat Pak Khan Khammungkhun is one of temples in Luang Prabang, it's small, beauty and originality, located in the old town area end of the Sakkaline street nearly point views Kong and Nam Khan River!

Wat Pak Khan means Temple at the Beginning of the Khan River. This is a small temple with quarters for novice monks. Having less visitors, this is a nice temple for a peaceful and contemplative visit. Entrance is free.

Relative to Other Temples, This Wat is Quite Small and Ordinary. However, It Has a Small Museum which is Currently Featuring An Historical Photo Exhibition on the LP Monks. It Looked Interesting - I Wished that We had Time to Check It Out.

Coming from Wat Xieng Thong I just happened to pass the Vat Pak Khan, a temple for novice monks. A part from the Golden Buddha there also is a small museum.
