See how the locals distill their whiskey from fermented rice and fortify it by putting dead cobras etc. in the bottles. Free tasting for those who want to try and buy.

As soon as you get off the boat, you will see an interesting whiskey distilling contraption. You can taste the whiskey (50% alcohol) and the rice wines. If you choose not to buy here, there are many shops inside the village selling the same stuff....More

There are the same embroidery that can be found in most of the village. But you can experience how the whiskies are made here. Nothing much besides that.

a nice stop on the way to the caves but really there is not much there.. a few stalls selling textile goods and locally made whiskeys which are quite potent

This is just a few market stalls selling the usual tat along with some bottles of home brewed spirits. Ask your tour to skip it.
