This waterfall was very special in it’s own way. According to our guide, this was the only waterfall in Laos to have a flat ground with no rocks. The current was very strong yet manageable and easy to reach the outskirts of the waterfall. Also,...More

Firstly, a very unique waterfall and it was very refreshing. Really enjoyed it. Only sad thing is that there are animals caged up. A sweet monkey is on his own, and peacocks and hens are also couped up which is a bit sad. Waterfalls on...More

After a stroll through the jungle with an elephant, we enjoyed a dip in the falls along with our elephant! Despite the high waters due to the huge amount of rainfall this past season, the falls were still a great place to visit. A little...More

If you go for the waterfalls they are very pretty and if you’re comfortable in water, the main swimming pool is easy enough to navigate. When the pool is full (or overflowing) you can jump into it from a 1.5 meter drop from the next...More

I visited Tad Sae waterfall in July with my partner and friends. At the start of the park we we saw a elephant camp, with elephants in horrible conditions. Driven by tourism the whole day, guides using hooks to let them walk if the elephant...More

The waterfall is not as nice as kuang si and if you go you will support bad treatment for animals. There are elephants that can be feed and ride by silly tourists, there is a poor monkey in a cage looks so sad, and others...More

We visited this location during our visit to Loas and Indo China. You arrive by boat which is a long canoe with a two stroke engine attached. This in itself was an exciting experience. We were then taken to the falls which were in full...More

This is a little out from the main centre of Luang Prabang (about 20km) but easily accessible by tuktuk. The trip out to the river crossing is interesting as it does take you through the villages on the fringe of town. Access to the falls...More

Sad thing about Tad Sae is it's dry during hottest season like April or May. But still have some water runing down... you may feel a bit disappointed seeing a dry waterfall.

We stayed in the downtown, just next to the main streets. There is no other place close to the Tad Sea Waterfall which is out of the downtown. It takes 45 minutes - 1 hour to Tad Sea by tuk tuk. But the road is quite good... More
