Booked through our hotel recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Very friendly welcoming staff. They will point out places to you as you go down the river side you don't miss any photo opportunities. The caves are definitely worth a visit but be warned the upper cave is a bit of a climb but you are welcomed back on the boat with... More

Make sure you book in early as the cruise fills up very quickly with limited seats! We did the lunch cruise which exceeded our expectations! Local Lao cuisine provided at lunch was delicious. Downside was that drinks were expensive, don't order the wine as they are very ungenerous filling up the plastic wine glass, stick to the beer. Overall a... More

The level of service, led by Jean-Baptiste, was truly professional and everything was well planned in advance. The visit to the 'whisky village' was relaxed and not at all pushy, the caves were fine, and lunch on the way back was excellent.

I was really looking forward to getting out on the Mekong for the morning. It is a little bit tricky to find their boat dock and as you are walking every person who has a boat offers to take you out on the river, so that was a bit exhausting. But, once I arrived and finally found the location (leave... More

The Mekong is a travellers dream location. Tourists and locals share this vast river area. The stretch covered by this tour takes tourists into a landscape of mountains, rock faces, passing shorelines scattered with local habitations. The boat is spacious, quiet and easily accommodated our party of 36 people. There s plenty of uncovered space up front and under cover... More

I availed the Pak Ou caves and whisky village tour with lunch for US$ 25. Not a bad deal. The boats were clean, well-maintained. The staff go out of their way to take care of you- telling you about the viewing decks available, offering blankets, etc. However, please do not expect a guided tour here. It is really just mainly... This was one of the highlights of a 3 week tour, I'm a vegetarian but plenty of people eating meat and fish onboard as well. The food was excellent good quality served with friendly and professional staff, of course beautiful setting. The boat including toilets was clean sand spacious .. Loved it !

Excellent river cruise stopping at whiskey village and Pak Ou caves. Cruise and stops lasted approx 4 hours. Food on board was excellent and could not fault staff on board who made it a memorable part of our holiday. Highly recommended.

Comfortable boat, a great team enboard, lovely food and a wonderful day on the water. The whisky village and cave were also both interesting. Thank you.

There are countless choices of boats in Luang Prabang if you want to take a river cruise and see the Pak Ou caves. Nava Mekong costs more than the others but is well worth it. The boat is well maintained and outfitted. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. On the return from the caves a Lao lunch is served. It's... More
