Smelly, mouldy, dingy, no English, no French, average technique (a lot of enthusiasm depending on the masseuse). Cheapest place on the strip by 30%. Go if you're prepared to endure the above.

We settled in to Lotus Spa for foot massage. It was relatively quiet, with low lighting and the therapists were not chatty or particularly noisy either. We were all very happy with our massages, so we decided to return the following evening for a body massage. The following night we selected a one hour body massage, were ushered upstairs, given... I am surprised about the negative reviews on here about this spa but perhaps they have improved things since the beginning of the year. (I think I have the correct spa it is a few doors up from the restaurant Coconut Garden) We only had foot and leg massages so did not see the showers etc but it looked clean.... More

I read about this place in the book Laos by lonely planet. I am glad I did. I spent $17 U.S for two of us to have a 90 minute oil massage. It was my understanding that it is supposed to come with a 10 minute shower before, but when we started we were told no shower, which was fine.... More

The showers were cold and filthy which is not a good start for a massage. Afterwards you see the room where you will receive your massage which is full of spiderwebs and the plaster crumbles all over the place. It was quite cold in the room and the bank to lay down has no hole for the head so you... More

The premises are located on the main street, and look quite nice from the front of the building. We booked the 90 minute massage. It started 10 minutes late when the 3 young masseuses arrived. Miy one was too gentle and was replaced by a young man who thought he was doing an erotic massage in Bangkok (sliding up and down... More

I was in Luang Prabang early August. Went into this Spa for an oil massage. I was taken upstairs to change and then told to come downstairs, with only a towel draped around. Then taken into a small, not overly clean room. My masseuse was a male. Massage was hideous. I was basically given a rub with oil. He kept... More

Had a foot massage which was more of a foot rub using excess oil Didn't find the staff particularly friendly and the girl answered her phone during the treatment. Very rude. The towel looked dirty & I couldn't wait to get back to my hotel & shower.

This place is dirty , my wife's masseur was texting on her phone while massaging, I was just covered in oil, the shower was offensive. There are plenty of nice places to go in luang prabang, just don't go here.
