Pretty expensive (10k) for what you get. For us Europeans it is not a lot of money, but there are many better things to do in Myanmar for less. Not much information in English. Big board with info in Burmese in 100 words, same sign...More

More or less in the center of town, you find a huge complex, surrounded by water and walls, with an enormous amount of buildings. Ver well conserved and good maintained.

Our tour group stopped here while visiting Mandalay. A beautiful structure to see made out of carved teak wood. Definitely worth a visit here.

The buildings are mainly replicas of the originals. While some say, it's not necessary visiting since this is a remake. This place leads you to imagine the life of the last Burmese monarchs and your guide will probably tell you some interesting politics and tales...More
