What can you say ,it is just a big market.I enjoyed walking around and seeing all kinds of trinkets and nik naks for sale.I must say it does get very busy with people walking through .There was the also the chance to get some local food with the numerous vendors set up through out the medina.

Visited A few Times on my holidays to grab some fake glasses as mine had snapped, you can buy all types of trinkets and stuff here, including fake watches and glasses cheap. You will get asked to come into every shop ,just to look, as they say.. ha ha

It has nice restaurants right on the water front and a few shops all around the médina where souvenirs could be bought. It is a nice walk but very "touristic".

Absoultey awful a nightmare we went to the Medina with my family brother and sister to be hounded and harassed into buying things we didn't want or need. They won't take no for a answer I found the Tunisians rude and arggesvive type of people. We ended up paying for a local guide as it was our first time in... More

Absolute must see. Best place to buy cheap cigarettes (1-3 dinars per packet), perfumes and souvenirs. Just don't forget to bargain in the shops ;)

A must see! Walk around and see historic buildings and market. But...people there can be pushy selling all the stuff...

The medina of Sousse is quite large and always full of people. Here you can try your barter skills and be sure, you will loose against the locals, but it is fun. Go early in the morning to avoid the big queues.

Nice to go there, great to see all the local products and have a nice chat with the locals. Been there with my twins of 6 months old then, had a lot of attention from all the locals.

Make sure you visit the medina. Eye opening. Prepare to barter hard to get a good deal. Don't be afraid to walk away.
