the corniche in Alexandria is one of its landmarks, and also it is the heart of the city linking all its other landmarks, you should try a walk with the nice sea breeze, or just pop in one of its many cafes and restaurants

Corniche is different summer and winter time. In summer looks like all suburbs in Alexandria and it is impossible to drive and enjoy the view. In winter the situation is opposite. While driving you will observe stunning hotels - Four Seasons, Sheraton, Hilton mixed with shabby half destroyed houses. Starts from Montazah, King Farouk's Palace and stretches around 30 km... you must not miss having a nice walk on the corniche and enjoying the lovely air there. If you also love running the early morning, you can run along the conriche and believe me you will love it.

The sea is a great view. The streets are not clean, more care should be made to this place in terms of service and cleaning. Otherwise the nature view is nice

Alexandria is well known for its sea, the corniche offers you the opportunity to enjoy it for free. You can also do some exercise there in the fresh air or enjoy a stunning sunset view.

Make sure you come by taxi or bus because there is no place to park BUT this is a good place just to walk and see the Mediterranean Sea. There are vendors on the corniche but they are not pushy or annoying. Take a jacket because most of the year you will get some cool breezes off the Sea.

Impressive walk, nice fresh air and a salty spray that can breath life into the most depressed. Many snacks available as you walk on by, along with a cart-horse, that can show you around. Most of the time though, traffic is really congested, so that cart won't go too far.

The breeze of the sea in a fine evening of winter. I enjoyed the scenery and environment, except for some egyptians disturbing us. Some even peed at the walls. But still fine, i still enjoyed the view. Missing egypt!

The corniche is very similar to others in middle east countries. Nothing special. It was visible from the apartment where we stayed.

The corniche is a nice relief for the sprawling city of Alexandria that stretches along the shore. The sea breeze and lapping waves bring a bit of calm to an other wise busy city. The Corniche spans from the Citadel to Montazah palace, including the Library, Stanley Bridge and San Stefano along the way. Near the icons of the city... More
