This little museum is off the beaten path and not often visited. It offers a fabulous glimpse of the lives of Egyptian royalty. The architecture of the museum (2 villas connected by a gorgeous stained glass corridor) is something to see. The bathrooms, ceilings, doorways.... all very, very impressive. The collections on exhibit include pieces from the princess' every day... More

The palace is small but has many historical pieces of jewelry that belong to the royal family. Not only the jewelry is a must see but also the interior architecture of the palace glass windows are beautifully decorated with drawings ceilings, walls and the furniture are also very special. The tour will take from 1 to 2 hours.

you may be surprised by the jewels on display, and can't even dare to estimate the value of the diamonds and precious stones used by Egyptian Royalty. you will definitely need to see it to believe.... and the best time to visit it is on friday morning, where all the roads are empty and the visitors are minimal..... don't forget... Fabulous. Lovely building with great deco meets Hollywood features. Extraordinary objects in precious materials. Really concise labels etc were informative. Beautifully arranged and lit. Lots of staff but weird gift shop with very few gifts but a good guide - take small banknotes.

A Gem of a Museum - pun intended! This little museum based in an historic house is a real gem. The building itself is impressive from the outside and even more so from the inside. The stained glass windows are wonderful, especially if you manage to see them with the sun showing them off in all their glory. Do look... More

I love all things Royal, so this was definitely a must on my agenda. I was staying in Alexandria for a few days so got a cab to the palace. It has recently been fully renovated and is back to its former glory. You can buy tickets at the door (there is a separate small charge to use your camera... More

Amazing, beyond amazing, the palace is a piece of art on it own, from the moment you enter, the ceiling, the glass drawing, the doors, everything is just breathtaking, and the jewelry is amazing with description written on every piece, just dont miss it, you will love it.
