The medina is an interesting maze of streets. A huge market and easy to get lost and feel like you will never find the end. It's a good experience for an hour or so.

The old Tetouan Medina is stunning and very picturesque. Passing by the narrow streets feels like time travel in a recent past.

I spent just a few hours in the Tetouan medina, but it's incredibly beautiful. From the outside, the sight of the white houses on the hill is gorgeous. The medina itself is very beautiful, interesting architectonical elements, easy to navigate as compared to other medinas,...More

Have visited a number of Medina's across Morocco. The Medina was not overly big and there were very few tourists but a number of people who wanted to be your guide. Nice enough but not overly special even though a UNESCO site.

Tetouan would be an option but I recommend you to take a taxi to safe time. I recommend highly the medina. Just go with the flow, it's a wonderful experience if you're open to the real Moroccan life.
