One of the towers surrounding the old town of brasov, with nice views and a pleasant walk through the forest to reach it. You can't go inside.

You can't access this tower but there is a platform to view the old city in particular the Black Cathedral. We visited the tower on our walk around the old city walls, I do recommend that walk.

We climbed the hill to see the black tower and loved the view. The tower was not open. I was disappointed with the trash along the trail.

We are not the fittest and it is a deceptively difficult hill in the heat so be prepared but lovely views over Brasov from the deck. The tower itself has been vandalised and there was broken glass around when we visited so just take care....More

There is a beautiful view from a historic place. You can see almost all the main places of Brasov. And the mountaines too.

After a bit of a climb, you will be rewarded with a marvelous panoramic view of the whole city. Not sure if you can still visit the inside of the tower.

The tower itself is not big deal, but good position to take some pictures of the city below. Start walking from council square up to the white tower first then short cut between the trees to reach this black tower then come back down on...More

Whilst the squared Black Tower (which is white in colour) was also built in 1494 it got its name from a severe fire in 1559 when it was struck by lightening!

A very interesting tower located on the Warte hill on a very large rock. It was used as a tower defense against migratory peoples

The way to the tower is really nice, you walk in a small kind of park, and then take some stairs which really have a nice view. I liked the view from up there more than the tower itself
