open 9-16 mon-fri. if the door is closed go to the office in front and they'll open for you. the kosher restaurant(shalom) near by feeds daily pupils from the German school (!?).interesting architecture interior and exterior and in the square the holocaust memorial.

I have never been to a synagogue before. It was very interesting to visit. On the outside looks nice, on the outside it looks like a church but without icons or crosses. There were many people there visiting, mostly germans. I do not understand why...More

Beautiful synagogue with some unusual features. Great state of preservation. virtually no Present Romanian congregation. Services attended on shabbat morning is performed by traveling haverim around the world.

A worthwhile visit to a historial religious monument that survived the 2nd World War and Holocaust. Attached in a kosher cafe and possibility to purchase Challot on Fridays and to book places to eat in the kosher restaurant.

We visited the Synagogue although it was closed and it had gates so we had to settle for a photo between the bars. Synagogues are something I still feel I haven't encountered that often and so the architecture still really grabs my attention.

It is an interesting building, an interesting synagoge, nice renovated. If you are in Brasov it is worth to visit it.
