It's located close to the center and you can have a short break there while visiting Cetatii Street. You can admire the old walls as you go down the paths.

The Citadel park of Sibiu is located between the 2 rows of former fortifications of the city - between Cetatii Street ("the most beautiful street in Sibiu") and the Corneliu Coposu Blvd.
It is a small but nice park - where you can walk in the shade of trees and have a relaxing stroll through the ditch of the former fortress.
Also as a highlight here you shall find the FITS Walk of Fame (FITS - the International Theater Festival of Sibiu) - an "avenue of stars" dedicated to actors from around the world that has some known names of the Romanian theater also - just to mention a few - Maia Morgenstern - the actress who worked with Mel Gibson for the "Passion of Christ" (she was The Virgin Mary in the movie) - Marcel Iures another Romanian actor who made a name in Hollywood. So it can be interesting also for those into theater and movies . The "Walk of Fame" can be found closer to the Thalia Room (theater).
So when in the area of Cetatii street, if you will like strolling - and it is perfectly safe even during the night - you can check out this small but eventually interesting park.

It is nice to walk along the old defensive walls of Sibiu and relax in this little park. Some of the old guild tower can be seen as well.

Well,not quite a park,at least in my opinion but is very nice to take a walk in this area.In fact, it's a strip of greenery that stretches along the defensive walls of the Old City.Here you can find some old defense towers like Turnul Olarilor and Turnul Archebuzierilor.

Calling this a park is maybe stretching it a bit. It is rather small, but if you visit the ancient citywalls, you are bound to finc it.

A nice little park in the old town, by the first line of fortification of the citadel. Great to relax and stay away from the sun.

Walk the walking street in and this sort of nature walk out of the Old part of Sibiu. Its outside the walls and it's quiet. Still drops you off more or less at the InterContinental Hotel.

Great for a walk, it gives you the sensation of old times. It has a hall of fame from Theatre festival.

Located between old city walls, it's a nice and quiet place to take a walk. There are benches to take a rest if you need. Old city fortifications to see along the alley. Parallel with Cetatii street, the nicest street on town.

We walked this park while on a guided tour of the city (WELL worth it!) There is so much beauty and history in this city.
