Amazing, Heavenly, Beautiful........

These words still fall short of describing, the interior of this cathedral, it really hits the wow, factor, we sat down and took it all in, the decorations are truly beautiful.

It is a church for the Orthodox faith, interestingly build by Hungarian architect. It worth to visit the interior too.

You are drawn from afar by the two attractive towers and you wonder what kind of church can it be? You certainly won’t find many, if any, Orthodox cathedrals in Romania in this architectural style. It should come as no surprise that everything is out of this world extravagant, shiny, huge, because it’s a different culture and you should definitely... More

We hadn't planned to visit this cathedral but were walking past and popped in based on other trip advisor reviews. The inside is absolutely stunning. Every surface is beautifully decorated. A lovely place to wander round if you're a fan of churches.

It's located close to the center and it's worth stopping by for a few minutes to see the beautiful facade and the richly decorated interior.

Built on the principles of the so-called national-revivla style in Romania, the largeish Orthodox Cathedral takes pride in putting together elements from Ancient basilica's (like Constantine's Cathedral, Aga Sofia in today's Istanbul) and some romanesque elements. The interior is quite dark for Western standards. Services take long and they are a standing business.

Beautiful interior, extremely peaceful, in the heart of the historic centre. Worth a visit and spend some time inside admiring the frescoes.

It was one of the most beautiful Churches I have ever visited. It has a special almost awe inspiring atmosphere. If this Church was modelled on Sancta Sophia one can only imagine what the services were like in that great Church of long ago.
