Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Huet square situated near Piata Mica - it is a small square but loaded with history where one can find several landmarks of the city and historical buildings - some preserved better than the others.
From the landmarks than can be found here : The Evangelical church, the Tower of Stairs connecting to the "Lower Town" and the Passage of Stairs near it, The House Of Guilds with the Guilds Tree in front of it, etc.
It is never crowded and has a certain serenity to it, when you are in Sibiu make sure you include this square on your list.
Go and see for yourself - Enjoy!

Huet Square has been delimited in the historical area of Sibiu since the XII Century. Here you can admire the Evanghelical Church, the Statue of Bishop Teutsch, the Stair Tower, the Stair Passage and a beautiful view of the city bellow.

As you go from the Small square towards the house of the Guilds - close to Huet square - you will find this small lovely square.
It is one of the corners of the city that tends to be forgotten but nonetheless it is worth visiting. What you will see here :
- the Saint Mary Cathedral
- the Teutsch statue.
- the Tower of Stairs - the ground floor of this is the oldest building in Sibiu.
- the Parish house
- the Huet tunnel
And this is just mentioning a few of the points of interest/landmarks in Huet square.
I recommend you include the Huet square in your Sibiu tour for sure it is is worth it.
For those of you who are into history for sure it is going to be interesting especially if you are on guided tour the guide can tell you a lot of details about the history of the place.
Go and see fro yourself - it is for sure worth it.

I love Piata Huet because it is lovely and green, it is small and has a back view of the square. It is more intimate and less riddled with tourists than the small and large square in Sibiu. I always found myself gravitating toward it to get away from the crowds. There was a children's marathon where locals were serving free goulash, it was fun for me to be there. It's good for people to come here and take a breath from the tourist miasma that fills old town Sibiu.

The Huet Square or Piata Albert Huet is a rather smaller historical square in the old town of Sibiu. On it is the Evangelical parish church and Casa Calfelor.
