Take some time to stroll round the old town and visit the amazing buildings that line the cobbled streets. The Roman amphitheatre is spectacular and in a wonderful setting.

Plovdiv is very much a mixture of new and old. Impressive Roman Arena and Theatre ruins combine with a mixture of renaissance and communist architecture making this a very interesting city to wander around.

Loads to see & some easy tourist maps are readily available from Tourist Information and hotels. Small enough to walk to several locations of interest.

The old town is the best place you should visit in when visiting Plovdiv. There you will find anlot of cultural and historical places you can visit. There are museum houses, and a lot of beautiful views.
