The building in itself is magnificent and is one of the world's most preserved ancient theatres! The theatre is still in use and I would love to watch an opera or a concert here, if given the chance.

brilliant location in the old town. great presence and feel to the place. would be good to see an opera or concert here. brilliant will visit again. well preserved roman site.

It is a small, but very old, interesting and beautiful place. With a good view of the city. You can also go to the stage.

just visited the old city during a 2.5 hr layover between trains. located on the hill but within walking distance from the train station. well preserved historical theatre.

On top of a great rock Hill romans build a beautiful Theatre. It is one of the best preservated roman construction in Bulgaria so If you are in Plovdiv it is a must to visit.

Close to the town and cheap to go inside and have a closer look if you wish to. Really beautiful to walk around, and easy to find.

I haven't seen a ramp for wheelchairs and in general the access to the place to start with will be very tricky - the old town is mostly laid with cobble stones and on foot it can be tricky, let alone with a helping vehicle... More
