An old Turkish house which is now a museum. Visited with a local guide on a Croatia tour. Worth a visit !

“Original” house only a couple of minutes walk from the Old Bridge. Pleasant courtyard with interesting fountain. You will need to take your shoes off and be conservatively dressed but no need for headscarves etc for women.

If our guide had not brought us to this house we would have no knowledge that it existed. We had just completed our visit to the mosque and this site was on route heading back to the Old Bridge. Nice shaded courtyard, small fountain, the...More

This is a gem hidden away and we'll worth a visit at 4km about £2 each. It is a well preserved original house. Not a lot to see but what is is well cared for.

This interesting old turkish house is not far away from old bridge in Mostar. So, just few minutes walk and you are in one of the very last old turkish houses from otoman era. Nice view on the old bridge too.

I think this is my first experience inside a home like this. It was really interesting. Fantastic ceiling lamps, carpets. You must take shoes off to enter. Areas all have specific purposes. One main gathering room is in a circle so people can actually sit...More

A little tricky to find. It is at the end of the tourist path on the left next to the river. A small fee to enter. Quaint house of history and of the past. Also walk around the outside to the side and back by...More

This place offers some insight into the traditional furnishings and decoration of a traditional Ottoman-era household from Mostar. There are some colourful rugs, a parlour with cushions and a picture of the Taj Mahal and some items from an historic kitchen. None of this was...More

Kuča is a family house from old times when Turks were near Vienna, in Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia, Greece. You are back in life when they had no radio, TV, electricity. Still, you have very nice paved yard with a fountain, upper floor where you need...More
