We visited the house on a hot august afternoon, me and my parents. There is a beautiful patio and the nice host took some time to briefly inform us about the house and the architectural jewels of it. The house was well maintained. Unfortunately, there...More

We stayed here one night on our recent trip to parts of the old Yugoslavia. This is billed as a museum, but really is a guesthouse that is in an old Ottoman style family home. You really get a feel for how people of a...More

An historic place to stay with traditional Turkish furnished rooms but modern amenities (like a bathroom, shower and AC). Rate includes a tour of the house, parking in a private lot and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English.

It was a pleasant and comfortable stay, with friendly hosts and a welcome drink on arrival. It was all set in lovely grounds also. I wouldn't really describe it as a museum. It is an old family house, with some rooms showing how the family...More

Even better than just visiting this small museum house is to stay overnight at it, but as it has only 12 rooms (and takes only cash, no credit cards), that is not easy to arrange. Unfortunately, this year a lady guide was new and inexperienced,...More
