Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First the name is VABLANICA (WITHOUT "S"), second - some of the reviews refer to the new bridge but the real wonder is the broken one that was exploded by the Partisans during the second world war. This is a true treat and a fascinating story.

It's an artificially formed lake on the Neretva river in the area of the town called Jablanica. The nature is amazing. There is a beach every couple of miles, you can choose crowded ones like Ostrozac or Paprasko, or a quiet and romantic one.

The broken bridge on the Neretva river in Jablanica tells the story of a very sophisticated and heroic battle of the partisans in Bosnia. How Tito and the partisan blew up the bridge pulling the enemy to a false direction and saved themselves in the second WW.

I stopped here along no doubt with countless others to admire the bridge with its historial war time signifiance. Great as that is the rest of the area also has a lot to offer with beautiful scenery that had I been brave enough to drive would love to explore in more detail.

Wondering at first why we have to stop here. Tour guide said to view a bridge. Again bridge? after few already - well its worth to stop here for such nice place. Good story to tell. Historical value. And another beautiful bridge i can say for those who like the local architecture and this historical sites. Next to a very cozy cafe that you may enjoy coffee or tea with local desert. Across the road you may enjoy great view of this area from the hill and nice photo to snap. No worries its worth it to stop here...

The whole area in and around Jablanica is absolutely superb. The colour of the water and the beauty of the mountains in the back ground. I can't recommend this area enough.

We passed along the shore of the lake on our bus journey from Sarajevo to Bosnia Nr were so taken with the views we drove back up there with a hire car to spend some slower time. The scenery all around is just stunning and the area is well worth investigating.
