The scenery around the old bridge is magnificent and a walk in the old Mostar town is definitely a must but must plan the time properly because it gets dark at about 4pm local time in the month of Nov to Dec period and most of the shops closed at about 6pm local time. Please wear a comfortable pair of... More

The bridges, the houses, the streets, the river, the trees and the people as a composite shown a strong flavor of the Yugoslavia culture. However, the passageways are full of marble and marbles stones, and up and down of little hillside roads to walk through the town. But it is very well developed for a cultural site like this. It's... As far as 500m from the bridge, you will still be in the historical city center of Mostar. Each building has its history, you won't regret walking for some hours through the region. Even doing it at night is wortful (and different)

So nice bridge in a really nice village. The only care is to be aware where do you take the pictures when you cross to the other side

We visited Mostar in September. We arrived from Croatia by rental car and had difficulties to park a car. Automated parking meter stations are all in Bosnian and accept only Bosnian money. We had Croatian kunas, Euros and US $, it didn’t work as well as credit card. Finally we managed to find parking near big Cathedral, where they accepted... More

As Dr Johnston famously said shout the Giant's Causeway - "it was worth seeing but not worth going to see" the same can be said for this tourist attraction. We drove for several hours from near Dubrovnik and got there midday, it was hot and sunny and we parked nearby. It wasn't very well signposted but we found it. The... More

Apparently the major attraction of the city didn't impress me enough...Kids jumping off the bridge to entertain tourists for money is just a nasty idea, according to my taste. I felt like I was in dark age circuis. The market and street food was great though. Nice place to visit in that area, definitely better then Trebinje and other serbian... More
