Breathtaking

Get up early and go and see the bridge when there are hardly any people. It is out of this world experience.

I would highly recommend taking a local guide around Mostar. This history has to be heard and how it has affected the local people and how recent all this really was. Guide can recommend a local restaurant, food is lovely and reasonable. Watch locals jump from the bridge for money into freezing waters. At base of the bridge lie the... More

We visitèd Mostar as an organised tour from Dubrovnik and had a guide who explained the history. We went to view the bridge through the old town area to the edge of the river. For 25 euros (we all put a couple of euros in) locals will jump from the bridge which was pretty spectacular, Bridge was rebuilt with EU... More

Worth to visit. Landmark of Mostar. Recommend to climb up minaret of Mostar mosque for great top view of this bridge.

Whilst sitting at a small cafe overlooking the bridge we saw 4 people jump into the river Neretva! It was a lovely experience, especially due to the lovely weather (24 degrees in april!)

the place is nice. the rivers. the mountains. very beatiful, but it's just a bridge. If you have plenty time at BiH, it is worth, but if not, skip this.

Old bridge is the most significant landmark in Mostar. It is free of charge and suitable for families.

This is one of the big attractions of the town, and it's neat, if difficult to walk across, but it's a bridge, mostly reconstructed after the war. Locals will jump off it for 35 Europs for your entetainment, or will alllow drunken Aussies to do the same for the same price.
