This is a big church in a lovely quiet small square. There are so many squares in this little old town but this square seems quieter than the rest.

A very decorated church- it's beautiful. It sits in the middle of a square, and amongst it are restaurants and shops. I can't imagine what it looked like when it was built- what the city must have looked like. Lots of relics inside, cover up...More

On a walking tour of Kotor old town you will find right next to Saint Luka church is Saint Nicholas church (built in 1909.) that possesses a rich collection of icons and a beautiful iconostasis made by Cigler, a Czech artist.

Remember to remove your hats, ask permission for photos, don't use flash photography, and be aware that some folks may be using the church for worship and not sightseeing. Enjoy the visit.

Highly decorated Orthodox church in Kotor. What was really special was hearing an Orthodox priest sing a Mass and pray to the saints with a parishioner to either celebrate the life of someone or for somebody ill. Beautiful use of silver in the decorations.

This inviting Orthodox Church, with beautiful art work and details, is set on St. Luke's Square in beautiful Kotor, a town I'd well recommend.

A really beautiful church with great paintings and beautiful silver .we loved the quietness here away from the bustling street outside . We both lit candles for our fallen and pondered awhile ,a nice peaceful place to sit.

This is a nice little church which can be visited for free. While not a must-see location, it is definitely worth a few minutes of your time in Kotor.

Small but beautiful church in the cold walled city, one of many that you can see in a few hours of walking
