We happened to be walking by the opera house and noticed that Don Quixote was playing that night. We got tickets for 100 hryvnia which was worth $3.77. The ballet company was good, the sets, costumes and live orchestra fantastic and the inside of the...More

Beautiful sounds emanate from this wonderfully old building. The architecture is lovely but the seats aren’t the most comfortable.

What an experience to see a show in this beautiful hall. From the outside to the inside it was an experience not to be missed. The stages backdrop was simply wonderful. The show we saw for the International Dance and Music Festival was also great!

Went to the opera 'Aida', a balcony ticket was only 10 euro a person. The performance is made with a live orchestra which was very nice. Only problem was that the subtitles were in syrillic so we were unable to read that.

I just went to see the LvivMozart festival's Opening Concert here, playing Franz Xaver Mozart's First Spring Day Cantata, which was phenomenal. Acoustic is quite good for an opera theatre, too. A must visit place in Lviv.
