An etnographic site comprising many real-life examples of Ukrainian culture - historical homes from various parts of Ukraine as well as traditional crafts and arts, among them a balcksmith workshop and a bee-garden. Numerous other workshops are held there during festivities, namely, during Christmas and Easter. It's also a great place to enjoy nature in warmer times of year.

What a view into the architectural past of this part of Ukraine. The buildings and the overall setting really allows visitors to understand how people lived. The house with the musical instruments was my favorite - the curator had some of us play them and he conducted us in a song!

Interesting to see all of the older styles. A bit challenging to get to (signage is confusing), but worth the visit if you've seen most other things.

Great place, green, clean oxygen and the wood houses ! With taxi about 10 minute from city center. I think, rent a bike and go there. It's some difficult but very good.

well restored old houses of the region in a nice little park. Interior is decorated like in the old days with furniture etc. Some animals, WC, small "restaurant" (rather hut) - for families with children a good location.

Take comfortable shoes and reserve at least few hours to discover little villages lost in the woods where the time has stopped.

Though it is an amazing open museum that makes you feel like you are actually travelling the old villages of Ukraine, the houses and the churches on display are not open on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Not even tourist information in the center informed us about that so we had to visit just the gardens. Also be prepared to walk... More

These large parks, often set up during communist times, have their attraction. Here we have a scattered ensemble of old dwelling from around Ukraine. I was particularly impressed by the churches. The place is reasonably well endowed with facilities (bathrooms, cafe etc.) so you can spend many hours there. I can't help but think that seeing the churches in their... More
