These wells were built on the site of a moat in 1574. They supplied Zadar with water until 1838. The site is worth a photo & the park nearby worth a wander .

Very nice and interesting square with 5 wells, under the glass floor are remains of buildings from the Roman Empire and tower with panoramic view for fee 10 HRK and nice park with outside pub. It´s worth to see that.

Nice and quiet place in the old town. You have the opportunity to breath in a piece of Zadar history. If you are lucky, you may encounter buskers there :)

Must see square in old town of Zadar. Really interesting place with five wells in a row. I wish they were in use to taste natural water as old citizens did. Near walk-gardens atop old town.

Nice square with the wells used by city till the end of 19th century with exposed old foundations and land gate in the nearby.

Nice little square in Zadar. Plenty of restraunts nearby to eat at. There is a park nearby also. Interesting stories to go with it.
