Small but very popular beach on outskirts of Old Town Zadar, with a lovely walk into city by the Old Wall. Can't wait to go back.

After the hustle and bustle of the cruise passengers in the city centre, Kolovare feels much quieter and more relaxed. The narrow rocky beaches make for a great place to sit back and watch the world go by to the sound of the waves

lovely but small pebble beach, lined with bars and play areas. Wear appropriate footwear to protect your feet from the jagged rocks underwater.

Loves this place. Used the bar by the diving boards and watched the young doing dives and tricks off the boards. There is also a full size salt water swimming pool to use as well as the sea

We were there on a crowded weekend, but the water was nice. Wear beach shoes...the seafloor ls rocky and the urchin population is high.

Rocky, and pebbly which is to be expected, lots of concrete, which ruins any hint of natural beauty. Water crystal clear but in August it is very crowded. Head for Nin which is better.

Beach was crowded but it’s summer so expected. Beaches are very small but long. About 10minutes from old Zadar. The farther you walk, the more room on the coast. Have to place towels or stuff on wet ground, trees or rocks. Clear water but very...More
