Must visit place if in Zadar. The best time to visit is sunset. It is cool to Hear organs, and be aware, you cant Hear real songs. You Hear chords which are produced by waves which are hiting organs. Also it sometimes may be crowded.

On our tour from Holland America, we took a bus from our ship that dropped us off at the sea organ to begin our walking tour.
Insofar as I am aware, this is the only sea organ in the world. This device was made by the architect Nikola Bašić as part of the project to redesign the new city coast and the site was opened to the public on 15 April 2005. The waves interact with the organ and create somewhat random but harmonic sounds.

I visited here in September just gone whilst I was on holiday in Croatia. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. It's a really nice place to come in the evening and relax sit back and watch the sunset whilst listening to this unique sea organs play and the natural sounds of the sea. Right next to the Sea Organs is the light display. I really recommend a visit

This is so cool and bonus it is free and you can spend as little time or more. Depending on the wave action the volume can vary as well.

This is a very interesting and creative invention. Don’t be fooled by its name. It doesn’t play a tune, but plays different notes as waves hit underneath. I wouldn’t recommend making a special trip to Zadar to see this.

A beautiful setting especially as the sun was setting. So unusual-very magical to hear the haunting sounds made by the sea. Wouldn't have missed it. Close to Church Donat and archaeology site.

we really enjoyed the waves and "other sounds" in the background. Good place just to take a rest and relax. Hope to come again :)

Spent some of the afternoon here, really worth a visit if you are in Zadar. Sit and relax and listen and the noise is quite haunting.
