We didn't go in but it's a very striking building from the outside. There are plenty of bars in the square to enjoy a beer whilst taking in this imposing building.

When visiting Arena, very close is Temple of Augustus. Entrance is 10Kn = ~ 1,5e, and all the money from the tickets goes to maintaining the Temple. It's mesmerising from the outside, and small and lovely from the inside. Lady who works there will answer...More

This ancient temple is full of artifacts that would please any history buff. Because it is located in the main square, it is easy to gaze at it while enjoying a beverage or a meal.

The temple was closed by the time I made it to the old harbor town, this area is a must see anyway, full of restaurants, cafés and bars but gathers most of the monuments too.

It is a interesting attraction to visit, although the temple is not well preserved, mainly because of the damages during the World War 2.

It was worth a few kuna to see other pieces of preserved antiquities. Being inside helped one imagine standing there when the building was use!
