Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Pula, Croatia is a gem in the Adriatic sea. The historic places are well preserved, even though guided tours are sketchy you can get a good sense of the place. A mix of Roman, Byzantine and renaissance architecture are the perfect frame for your family, couples or solo trip. You can find food in almost every corner, very good and well priced. Stick around the City Hall for a fabulous a-capella performance of traditional Croat music.

The Town Hall (Forum) is right next to the Temple of Augustus in the main square of the Old Town of Pula, and there are many restaurants around that offer all types of meals for different prices.
It is worth spending a few more kuna just to enjoy the nice atmosphere of the square.

The Town Hall, a Venetian style building, stands next to the Temple of Augustus in the main city square, the Forum. Even today, the Forum is the administrative and legislative centre of the town. It is worth spending some time at the Forum, a rather nice square surrounded by restaurants and cafes

The Town Hall is built in the Venetian taste and dominates the site of what was once the ancient Roman forum. The square is quite large and is full of life with multiple cafes and restaurants to keep locals and tourists alike busy. At one time the Town Hall was flanked by a pair of 1st century Roman temples. The Temple of Augustus remains intact, but the second temple was incorporated into the Town Hall and remains of the structure can be seen in back of it.
Take some time to savor the atmosphere in this square - delightful. Enjoy!

This building is in the square near the Forum, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. It is an imposing building and whilst there we were lucky enough to see a wedding take place.

This is an excellent place. We went during a festival and it was great. Surrounded by bars and restaurants added by the extremely friendly people of Pula this is a location not to be missed . Great historical value just one of many locations not to be missed

This building sits in contrast to the Roman temple adjacent to it. The Venetians built very little in Pula and so a good example of one of their buildings is worth seeing. Apparently, the stones from the amphitheatre were taken away by the Venetians to be used in other towns. So we must be grateful for their investment in this lovely edifice.

After going through the narrow streets of souvenirs and restaurants it is a delight to step into this delightful square with two balanced architectural gems from different periods of time - good place for photographs

My partner and I stayed a day in pula. It’s a beautiful stop on our road trip. Bags of history behind every building. Beautiful food and drink.

The inscription in the facade (restored in the 16th century) dates the construction back to 1296 but proof has been found that it is older than that.
