The next day we spent the entire morning to visit with a guide. Destroyed to a level of 68%, The city was rebuilt by the Unesco after... More

Fantastic, beautiful, amazing... humbling. The churches; palaces; monestaries... Just the whole experience is worth the trip from wherever you are!!! TRY THE ICECREAM! So much better than in the US...

Dubrovnik seems to be a fairly popular destination on the Adriatic Sea. It's a small city with a past, which is found within the walls of the old city. From the hills above the city, one can see a beautiful stayed cable bridge connecting Croatia with other roads leading to Montenegro or Bosnia. One can actually view these countries from... More

My husband and I visited mid November so it was 'off season' but we like it that way! Surprisingly still a few tour groups around though, but we found it very easy to explore the many lanes and alleyways. Christmas decorations had just been erected during the week and at the weekend we were treated to some local dancing and... More

Buildings, pathways, harbour mason work all breath taking. A style to been seen and never forgotten. Every step reviels a new part of history and depth. Water so bkue and stone work to amaze. A must seen when in croatia. Take your heart, eyes and mind of a journey that you will never forget.

Everything was nice. We went out of the season so it wasn't crowded. If you are scared of heights - don't climb the walls. It was very beautiful and the restaurant we ate in was very nice- Tavulin Bistro.

The old town is actually quite small and can be "done" in about 3 to 4 hours. It is absolutely beautiful, if a little stark. Once one has seen the major sights, just wander off the Stradun into some of the lovely side alleys.

This place is full of stairs and alleys. Little shops, eateries, museums and apartments. Fun to choose an alley and see where it takes you.
