It was amazing. The old town is very charming. It was like I was in Kings Landing for real. Avoid during the early morning hours because of all the crowds. .

The main thoroughfare of the Old City and a UNESCO world heritage site. Remarkably well restored since 1991 when the Serbian army occupied the surrounding area and subjected the old walled city to a continuous bombardment by land, sea and air during which time 63%...More

This is the main thoroughfare through Dubrovnik Old Town; the degree of busyness varied markedly in the four days that we visited, largely dependant upon whether pesky cruise ships are visiting. It's a very fine street off which many lateral spurs branch, making Dubrovnik an...More

Stunning. Worth visiting Dubrovnik just to walk Stradun - history at its very best. Best to visit early morning or late evening and on a non-cruise ship day. But crowded or not this is stunning.

Nice place to visit. We went on one day when it was boiling hot, and the second day when it started raining. On both occasions there’s no where to really get out of the weather. I had a stroller which was tight getting in and...More

It gets so crowded on the Placa when the cruise ships are in port. Do not shop or eat on the Main Street. It’s crazy the difference in cost/quality. We got coffee the first day and it was $15 each. The jewelry and souvenir shops...More

A very busy street as it really is the main link to everywhere in Dubrovnik.....no escape from walking along here as you arrive at it on entry to town. Walking straight through you arrive at the busy little port/ harbour. Lots of shopping, Tourist information...More

Hard to miss, this is the main thoroughfare and a great place to start your visit to the old city. However the parallel Puca street is sometimes the nicer stroll - more shade and a nicer selection of shops. If you found my review helpful...More

was a great experience visiting this town, the town's marble pavements are worn and polished with so much footfall from visitors. Be careful when its been raining as it gets very slippy. The shopping is good with a mix of clothing stores, sweet shops, restaurants...More

This little street is the thoroughfare between the gates of pile and the harbour. We were there in April and it got very hot with very little shade during the day. Lots of Game of Thrones souvenir shops and restaurants line the street. Going to...More
