This was one of my favourite things we did in Dubrovnik. It costs 150 kuna per person but it definitely worth it. You get great views from every side of the city and it's really quite peaceful. As long as you can handle quite a...More

Nice views over to historical Dubrovnik and croatian landscape. The weather was warm so cold beer and water were needed. This is a must when you visit the city of Dubrovnik! There are some steep steps, but most of the walls are easy to go.

The walk around the walls is really lovely and if you are fit enough you have to do it. Strolling around it will take one and a half to two hours. Be aware that although not long in distance there are quite a few flights...More

Great walk. Beautiful views. Some stores and restaurants along the way. We took our time and stopped for a drink at one spot and lunch at another.

The views of the sea and of the old town are absolutely wonderful. If it's hot, take an umbrella and plenty of water. There is an exit halfway around, so you can get off the wall at that point if you'd like. If you enjoy...More

No visit to Old Dubrovnik is complete without a tour of the City Walls. We booked via Viator in advance of our holiday then just showed up on the day. We received a nifty headset which allows you to hear your very knowledgeable guide. The...More

A have to do even if it's to see what all the fuss is about. Crowded even mid week in May. Will take at least 2 hours, no shade so go early to miss the sun heat and crowds. Great views of the whole town.

This was our second time walking the walls and we enjoyed it just as much. The weather was fabulous and the views are wonderful. The cafes are a welcome break. We ambled round so it took us a couple of hours.

We only had a short period of time so only did half the wall. Great views. Fascinating history. Very hot while we were there - luckily a few places to stop for refreshments!

The only steps are those at the few entrances. So I guess I would recommend just taking a peek at the stairs at the entrance and judging based on that. Good luck!
Hi, we are traveling to Dubrovnik in June and will have our 3yr old and 6yr old with us. Are kids able to walk the wall, and has anyone else done it, how was it?

There were children whilst we were there but you would need to keep a close eye on them. One couple had a toddlers trike up there which was quite light to carry up the stairs. You don't have to do whole wall in 1 go... More
