Lokrum is a beatiful island just close to the old town of Dubrovnik. Already the boat ride was nice on a kind of an historic wooden bark. On theIsland there are some historic buildings. A monestry and a tower on the top of the hill...More

If you just have a short time to spend in Dubrovnik, try and visit this island if you can. It was probably the best part of our week long trip, magical place!!! Must see it for yourselves.

This is well worth the money to come over from Dubrovnik, 15 minutes and you escape the hustle of the town and step onto an idyllic island; trees, beaches, peacocks, rabbits and sands. Whilst the ferry is busy coming over it's amazing how quiet it...More

Our family of 5 (2 adults plus 10-, 9-, and 6-year olds) thoroughly enjoyed Lokrum. We had a picnic on the limestone overlooking the Adriatic Sea, skipped rocks on the 'Dead Sea' pond in the middle of the island, and visited the Napoleon-built fort. The...More

This is a must visit on a short 15 minute boat ride. and we easily spent a leisurely day in the sun walking, sitting soaking in the fabulous views. Lunch on the island excellent in the shades. Some interesting history and when you get away...More

I wasn't convinced that there would be much to see or do on Lokrum Island. It turned out to be one of the highlight of our visit to Dubrovnik. We enjoyed the trails, ruins, peacocks, rocky coast and spectacular views.

Wonderful was to spend a few hours. There is much to see here from peacocks, rabbits to incredible views from the old fort and innumerable other vistas. The arboretum is special as is the olive grove, next time I'll spend the whole day.

Lokrum is a great escape from the bustle of Dubrovnik, being a short boat ride (approx 10 mins). When you arrive you have the option to take many different paths. Either path takes you to many small attractions. Game of thrones fans will need to...More

OK but nothing really exciting. For those with kids, perhaps a day out for outdoor activities. Otherwise, nothing really special. Not much to see. The 10 minutes' boat trip was OK. But it'll cost you 120 Kuna.

The admission to Lokrum is 120 kunas including the boat trip from the Old Town. For children (5-15) 20 kunas. You can buy tickets in the old harbour, and this is the official Lokrum boat. If you take a taxi boat, you'll... More
