After deciding we didn't want to go on a big escorted trip we decided on Lokrum island for a day , boat ride from Mlini via Dubrovnik. On arrival we had to pay 90 kuna per person which was unexpected but well worth it. There...More

A glorious island that feels like a little retreat away from the bustling city of Dubrovnik. Though the busy boats over alluded to a busy island the spacious terrain made it feel peaceful and quiet. Recommend good footwear to take on the path of paradise...More

This is an island where you have great cliffs, rocky beaches (no sand!); peacocks and a superb restaurant (Lacroma) as well as good trails for walking.

We loved the island, we swam in the Dead Sea, and you can swim in the sea all around the island! There are toilets and restaurants and the sound of the birds and trees are incredible, extremely clean and just gorgeous! A must see!

Worth escaping the city crowds in the day to come here as this place is beautiful and has wild peacocks every where. I'd recommend taking swimming stuff as there's not much to do other than walk round (which is quite unbearable in the heat!) but...More

The admission to Lokrum is 120 kunas including the boat trip from the Old Town. For children (5-15) 20 kunas. You can buy tickets in the old harbour, and this is the official Lokrum boat. If you take a taxi boat, you'll... More
