So pleased we found the time to visit this most beautiful island. Incredible views, and beautiful places to feel utterly lost from the world, with just the turquoise sea as company. Very reliable boats to take you to/from island as well.

Words can not describe how beautiful and amazing is that island. Pure magic , every corner, every place , every tree just wonderful. Birds and bunny’s everywhere 😁 throne from games of thrones - my dream come true

Only about 15 minutes from Dubrovnik. Nice to get away from the crowded city. Remember to bring water shoes for swimming - there are many rocks.

Despite the beautiful appearance of the island, Lokrum quickly became a disappointing day out. The falsely advertised Dead Sea, was admittedly gorgeous and lovely swim in once you overcame the fear that there are poisonous anemones. Next we wanted to see the pigeons cave.... we...More

15 min from Dubrovnik (150kr for the boat), Lokrum is a nice islands with a lot of peacocks walking next to you! Small beaches and expensive bars, not much to do. To go only if you stay for a long time in Dubrovnik.

Very pretty island but costs 150 kuna return for just a 15 minutes ferry ride. Not much on island, no beach - rocks to sit on instead. Disappointed as online prices indicated 50 kuna each way but tourist price is 150 kuna (approximately £19).

We only visited this island after it was recommended to us by a local as his place of sanctuary to get away from the busyness and tourism of the city! We are so glad we went.. I agree the boat trip is a little pricey...More

This was a lovely trip - a short sea crossing, & the return took us all around the other side of the island, so that was a bonus We enjoyed the "Dead Sea", & the bar overlooking the pond was excellent - they had as...More

Yes you do have to pay, about £15.00 each because its a natural heritage reserve place, its totally worth it though
