Absolutely love this place. Joined a sunset ride with my 10 year old daughter and we really enjoyed every minute of this 3 hour experience. Organization was very straightforward and we were picked up at our hotel promptly and without a hitch. The horses were absolutely beautiful, nicely tested and well taken care of. The trail through the olive groves and other wooded parts of the region and along the coast, all the way up to a wonderful rest stop on the bluff overlooking the Adriatic, was really spectacular. Finished it off with a quick bite and a glass of wine, and lots of really nice memories. Highly recommended!

We were picked up not far from our accommodation in Dubrovnik (included in the price), very convenient and hassle free journey through beautiful coastal countryside to get to the stables. There was a lovely spot to sit and chill and admire the view by the very clean stables while the horses were being prepared. The horses were extremely well looked after and this was reflected in their relaxed and responsive nature. We rode through open tracks with various different trees and shrubs, with the coast on one side and mountains on the other. The sun was low in the sky, setting around us enhancing the landscape. On return we had another sit down with refreshments (included) to reflect on our journey. The horses were immediately given water and let free to roam in the field with their friends. A lovely sight to see them running off together. A beautiful ride. Well managed by professional, courteous and friendly staff. A perfect way to end our Croatian holiday. Sarah H

Booked an ATV safari tour at the start of our holiday to go on our last day. We got an email confirming what time we would be picked up as well as what to bring etc. - to cut a long story short they didn’t show up to take us to the destination and when I phoned up they told me they had no booking under our name. I explained we had used the correct website and that we received all the confirmation emails. They told me we would not be getting picked up and that we should book tomorrow (no chance by the way). There was no urgency to solve the situation or try to help us. Avoid at all costs as they are complete time wasters.

I advise anyone that is even considering to book any type of excursion at kojan koral to stay away. I have had the worst holiday and worst experience of my life because of kojan koral. This nightmare happened 4 days ago.
We booked a atv quad safari and were seen to by a very young looking unexperienced tour guide who looked like he was in his teens. He was the only person there alongside myself and 3 of my family members in this excursion we asked him if we needed a driving license and he said no. Even though on the kojan koral website it says the requirements are a driving license.

So me and my brother got onto the quad bike and my father got on behind me and my mum behind my brother. Before going I did tell them that my mum and dad are in their 60s they are worried do you think it will be safe for them. They claimed it was perfectly fine and you could not fall off and nothing would happen. There was no chance of danger they claimed.

Now the tour guide just explained this is the gas pedal, this is the break. You don't need anything else. We are going to be crossing 2 main roads when I do this (hand gesture) it means you go. When I do this (hand gesture) it means stop. Do not crash into the quad bike infront of you. Let's go. This was EVERYTHING the tour guide explained at the start. He did not ask us have you quadbiked before. He did not tell us to not speed. In fact he told us to speed otherwise it is boring and we get no thrill. He did not check after 5 mins if I was ok driving it. My brother had riden 3 times before. So he was confident.

So it was the tour guide who went first. My brother second. And me last. He knew I was not confident at all and I was very slow he did not even think to say you go in the middle so we keep a eye on you. Instead they would speed off leaving me behind quite regularly.

When we got to a main road he did a hand gesture telling me to go so I drove into the road and I saw a car speeding down. Then the tour guide panicked and shouted stop to me while i was in middle of the road. I didn't know what to do as the car was speeding down and I was already in the road so i took my own initiative and drove. Even when that happened the tour guide did not say anything after. He did not say sorry, he did not say he didn't see the car. He just carried on driving infront of us.

By the time i had got used to it they asked us to swap. He wanted my mum and dad to ride it. Even though he knew they were not confident at all and they were elderly. He was very adamant on swapping and said why don't u want to swap? Everyone always swaps at this point. Are you scared? Why? you will like it? My mum still said no. My dad reluctantly swapped with me after the tour guide was basically saying you will be safe there is no danger.

However he did not show my dad how to work the bike first of all. Second of all where we swapped it was an open field and my father went off track 3-4 times. How come the tour guide did not see this and stop before he took us onto a narrow dirt track. He should have stopped to see if my dad was ok driving. Instead the tour guide had sped off and we were left behind. My father went off track and crashed into the bushes and our quad bike flipped over on top of me and my dad. The quad bike was on my face I could not breathe I was in so much pain. I could not lift it off me. My dad lifted it off himself and managed to lift it off me. I blacked out and fell unconscious. I was so dizzy and I didn't know what was happening. The tour guide did not know what to do they did not have no first aid on hand and he wanted to leave my dad who was injured behind in the middle of nowhere, and take me and my brother and mum to the main road where a driver could pick us up. The tour guide was clueless on what to do in this situation.

When we got taken to the hospital the owner of kojan koral Pero Kojan rang my father and said 3 things. 1) a very unsincere are you ok? 2)Where is the paperwork or proof of purchase? 3) Do not tell the hospital you was riding a quadbike tell them you were riding a horse? Let me know what your gonna say before you go into the hospital?

Who on earth does that?? When we were in state of shock and pain. How can a professional organisation even think to say that to their customer? We were in hospital for 4 hours and had severe injuries. My neck and shoulders had internal bleeding and major swelling and bruising, I could not move it. My dad's ribs and shoulders had internal bleeding and were heavily swollen.

We had a meeting with our hotel and Pero Kojan himself 2 days after the accident. He was very cold, very unsympathetic and claimed nothing was his fault. He said to my dad nothing really happened to you all you had was a cut lip. You guys were not hurt. While I am sitting there with my neck brace on not able to move my neck. And my dad had injured his whole ribs and mouth. This accident happened the second day into our holiday out of 7 days. For the past 5 days I have not been able to do anything, none of the activities we had planned. Meeting the owner of kojan koral was the worst most emotional part of all this as he did not take any blame and basically claimed it was our fault. He even threatened us as when we said we will write a review and tell people what happened. He said 'if you do that I will ruin you twice as much'.

ANYONE THINKING OF BOOKING AN EXCURSION WITH THIS PLACE PLEASE THINK AGAIN. YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT AND FRANKLY KOJAN KORAL DO NOT CARE ABOUT THIS IN THE SLIGHTEST. All Pero Kojan thinks about his business. And this is the truth now that I have met him. I have never met anyone so cold and so unsympathetic in my life.

Dear Manpreet, I would like to thank you for the time and effort you took to write this. Your review itself is full of illogcal moments, so I won't comment on it. I like to write small detail that you fogot to mention of how you had requested that we pay for your entire holiday, i.e. accommodation in five-star hotel and plane tickets for your FAMILY. I'm sorry but I'm still not willing to accept blackmailing. Pero Kojan

This was a very disappointing and much overpriced 'riding' experience. For 2 1/2 hours we sat on horse back. The horses are well behaved yes - they know exactly what to do and follow the leader, walking very slowly, either along an asphalt single lane road or along a dirt road where they have to find their footing because it is covered in gravel and small loose rocks. Apart from the occasional slip, no problem, the horses do this every day, but it was lame. And the country side, it is nice but not spectacular and not something you cannot see much better from a boat or indeed walking. I cannot recommend this for the amount of money charged. There are much nicer things to do in the area with your family - stay clear of this one.

we booked a ATV tour on fryday 1 August. After receiving an automatic mail, we didn't receive a contact email. After giving a call, our reservation seemed to be lost in the system. Kojan Koral came up with an excellent solution: Our group, of 4 persons, was planned to make a special ride. Normally, they only have a quad safari in the morning, but for us, they drove away a second time that day. It was a great tour, with two great guides. It was an experience that I can advise to anyone who is visiting the Dubrovnik region. The ATV's drove good, the guides were superb.

Next time visiting Dubrovnik, will also result in a visit to Kojan Koral!!!

We booked this through delfin tours in cavtat. It was supposed to be for the Wednesday we were there however we weren't picked up and therefore had to reschedule. I'm really glad we did reschedule however as it was brilliant. We were picked up outside delfin tours and driven to the stables. The horses were all really well kept, calm and behaved. I have very limited experience and my boyfriend has never been before but this was no problem and we felt completely comfortable with the friendly horses. We rode up the mountain and stopped with a good view at the top and then back down again with views across the sea. When we finished we were given a homemade sandwich (which was delicious!), a bottle of water and some homemade wine (also delicious!). We were left to enjoy this by ourselves and there was no hurry or rushing us. While eating there was a really friendly dog and a few cats who kept us entertained as well as watching the horses be let out into the fields. Afterwards we were dropped off back at our hotel. The owner was friendly and chatty but also left us to it to enjoy the experience ourselves when needs be and he apologised for the confusion earlier in the week when we weren't picked up. I would really recommend this experience whether you've ridden before or not.

Do not go here. We tried both ATV and horse ride and both were lame. The horse trip was slow, hot, and the owner who leads the tour is not at all helpful and arrogant. Stay away.
