Adriatic Kayak Tours offers guided sea kayaking and multi-sport half-day, full-day, and week-long tours on Croatia's Dalmatian coast and islands and in Montenegro. Founded in 2005, 2016 marks the company's 12 season operating in Dubrovnik. Activities include sea kayaking to multiple islands to swim and snorkel, cave swimming, hiking, cycling, and white-water rafting in Europe's largest river gorge. The company is owned and managed by an American with training in wilderness management and leadership. AKT guides are both experienced kayakers, great resources on the history and culture of the region, and always fun to be with. We invite you to spend a day, 2 days, or a week with AKT experiencing the incredible beauty of the Adriatic Sea, the Dalmatian Islands, and the mountains and canyons of Montenegro.

We had already been to the three islands ourselves, but had a great time today. Ivan our guide was superb. He was waiting for us at the ferry in Dubrovnik and had our tickets and explained everything to us. When we landed in Lopud, we...More

We were told it would be a proper trip round the closest island to Dubrovnik old town, but that was a blatant lie. We also booked three single kayaks and a double, but were then forced into doubles splitting the family up which wasn't what...More

AKT were excellent at communicating with me before the tour started. They explained well what to bring and how the tour would work. Paddling in Zaton Bay was excellent because it was away from the usual kayak tours meaning that you got to see a...More

My teenage daughters and loved our kayaking trip. It was just us and a friendly Australian couple and our super helpful guide. Really good equipment, beautiful location at Zaton Bay outside the city. Gentle kayaking, bit of snorkelling and a rock jump (though not too...More

My girlfriend and I visited Dubrovnik end of July and I did a lot of research to find an all day excursion to get some exercise in, get away from the tourists and crowds, and explore some territory we wouldn't be able to on foot....More

Because you were a group of 13, a second guide was added to manage the group. We honor our ratio of 8 kayakers/ AKT guide. There is not a lot of kayaking on the 3 Islands tour; you were hampered by strong winds that particular...More

With only a few days notice we were able to book a tour with AKT. While we had planned to do the full day Kolocep tour, due to wind we had to reschedule and we're not disappointed! AKT was super helpful in finding an alternative....More

What an awesome day, my 12 year old and I throughly enjoyed it. A bit of everything thrown in there, kayaking, cycling and snorkelling. Our guide was very friendly and helpful and the lunch was spectacular-wine and an aperitif to start our meal. We're exhausted...More

My girlfriend and I did the full day 3 Island kayak tour and it was by far one of our favorite days on our month long vacation. The islands off the coast were beautiful and we got to kayak along the coast, swim in caves,...More
