Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The old town is very crowded with densely-packed houses and narrow streets. This is a rare area where there is open space and you can see a big church and official buildings, including a theater. All look great. But there were huge crowds of tourists around.

This is the main square in Dubrovnik and is such a gorgeous place. There are lovely buildings such as the Sponza Palace, Rector’s Palace and the Church of SvetiVlaho which make a wonderful backdrop. The little, but perfect, Orlando Column in the Square makes this a perfect place. Go at night, to avoid the worst crowds, the city is lively and buildings floodlit.

Busy square surrounded by impressive architecture. St Blaise's Church and and the City Bell tower pretty much dominate the square.

The centre of the medieval city which can't be missed. Best enjoyed early in the morning or late afternoon when all the day trippers from the cruise ships are gone.

A lovely busy square with many places of interest to see and venture into. Also grab a bite to eat or a drink. You definitely don't have far to go to see all this has to offer inside the Pile gate.

Best get there early throughout the summertime the crowds of tourists can prove to be oppressive. Beautiful old town full of history. If you need time out take a trip on the cable car for amazing views across the bay or relax outside the city walls with a swim in tge crystal clear Adriatic.

You've come in through Pile (everybody seems to come that way) and meandered down Stradun and bow you've arrived at Luza. An open space with the church of St Blaise, the civic centre and Rectors Palace. Sit down somewhere with a coffee (or something more holiday-is) and enjoy the bustle.

Luža Square is the busy and beautiful heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town. The Cathedral, Clocktower, Rector's Palace, Orlando's Column, and Church of St. Blaise are all right there. When there's an outdoor concert it's usually in Luža Square. It's hard to miss on a visist to Old Town!
